Acworth, GA – Car Crash with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Highway 92

Acworth, GA (March 18, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an auto accident in the Acworth area that ended in injuries.

At around 6:05 p.m. on March 17, authorities were notified that an automobile accident had occurred on Interstate 75.

According to officials, a collision occurred on the southbound side of the roadway near Highway 92. The two left lanes of travel were blocked, causing some delays in the area.

Georgia Highway Patrol troopers and area firefighters responded to the scene of the accident to assist.

Emergency services rendered aid to the injured victims before transporting them to local hospitals.

The accident is currently being investigated.
