Alachua Co., FL – Multiple Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 NB

Alachua County, FL (June 8, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident was reported on the morning of June 8 on Interstate 75 North, just before mile marker 395 in Alachua County, resulting in injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the site around 9:30 a.m. following reports of several vehicles colliding in the northbound lanes. First responders confirmed that multiple occupants sustained injuries deemed moderate.

The injured individuals were transported by ambulance to a medical facility for further treatment. Others were treated at the scene by paramedics from Alachua County Fire Rescue. Preliminary reports suggest that sudden braking and following too closely may have led to the pile-up. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause.
