Alachua County, FL – I-75 Accident with Injuries Reported near MM 380.2

Alachua County, FL (March 15, 2023) – An automobile accident took place in Alachua County on Tuesday afternoon that left at least one person injured.

Calls for help came in just before 3:40 p.m. on March 14.

According to officials, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The crash blocked two left lanes of travel in the area near mile marker 380.2.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers and local firefighters responded to the scene to provide assistance.

Paramedics care for injured victims while on-site. Those who required further care were transported to local hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
