Anderson Co, TN – Two-Car Injury Collision at Andersonville Hwy & I-75
Anderson Co, TN (Apr 15, 2025) – An injury crash involving two vehicles occurred on April 15 on Andersonville Highway at Interstate 75 near Norris in Anderson County. The crash happened around 2:11 p.m. Eastern Time and led to significant traffic delays as first responders worked to assist the victims and clear the scene.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local authorities, the two-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Andersonville Hwy and the entrance ramp to southbound I-75. Emergency crews from Anderson County EMS, fire departments, and law enforcement were quickly dispatched to the area. One of the vehicles sustained major front-end damage, while the other came to rest partially on the grassy shoulder.
At least two individuals were reported injured. One person was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Another was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released. Firefighters provided assistance with scene safety and managed the removal of damaged vehicles, while police directed traffic around the area to minimize congestion.
