Atlanta, GA – Accident on I-75 near Edgewood Ave SE Ends in Injuries

Atlanta, GA (January 17, 2023) – Emergency crews out of Atlanta were all requested to provide assistance at the scene of an auto accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

At around 2:20 p.m. on January 16, calls for help were received regarding a traffic accident on the southbound side of Interstate 75.

Reports from authorities show that a traffic accident occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near Edgewood Avenue Southeast. The incident prompted Georgia Highway Patrol and firefighters to close off multiple lanes on the road as they provided care at the scene.

EMS responded to care for the injured victims and provide those who required further care with transportation to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
