Atlanta, GA – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Cumberland Blvd

Atlanta, GA (February 27, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital following an accident that took place on Sunday morning in the Vinings neighborhood.

Calls for help came in at around 12:20 a.m. on February 26.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and firefighters out of Atlanta responded to the scene to provide assistance.

Preliminary reports show that a crash took place on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident blocks multiple lanes in the area of Cumberland Boulevard.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and secured the area immediately. Firefighters and police assisted in the removal of debris from the road.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following this accident.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
