Atlanta, GA – GDOT Reports Injury Crash on I-75 near Exit 250

Atlanta, GA (January 30, 2023) – The Georgia Department of Transportation reported to authorities that a traffic accident took place in the Midtown section of Atlanta that ended in injuries.

On January 28, the Georgia Highway Patrol responded to a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 75. At approximately 6:05 p.m., a traffic accident took place on the northbound side of the interstate.

The incident caused delays near exit 250, near the southbound entrance to 16^th Street.

Emergency officials blocked off multiple lanes on the roadway as they worked to clear the scene. Medical personnel provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries.

At least one person involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
