Atlanta, GA – GHP Responds to Injury Crash on I-75 near Williams St

Atlanta, GA (March 4, 2023) – At 4:36 a.m. on March 3, the police and firefighters out of Atlanta were called to provide assistance at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

According to reports, a collision blocked the right lane of travel on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near Williams Street as they worked to provide assistance at the scene.

Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the accident was then transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
