Atlanta, GA – Injuries Follow I-75 Accident near 17th St (Exit 250)

Atlanta, GA (February 4, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place in the Atlanta area on Friday morning that ended in injuries.

At approximately 9:40 a.m., on February 3, authorities were notified that a traffic accident had taken place on Interstate 75.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located damaged vehicles blocking the left shoulder on the southbound side of the interstate. Georgia Highway Patrol and firefighters immediately closed off the side of the roadway near 17^th Street at exit 250.

The accident caused disruptions in traffic throughout the Midtown area.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the accident was transported to a local medical facility.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
