Atlanta, GA – Injuries Follow Traffic Wreck on I-75 near Edgewood Ave

Atlanta, GA (January 3, 2023) – Emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of a vehicle wreck that occurred in Atlanta on the Downtown Connector that ended in injuries.

The accident was reported at around 6:30 p.m. on January 1.

According to the Georgia Highway Patrol, a traffic accident blocked all travel lanes on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near Edgewood Avenue.

The incident caused major delays in the area as emergency crews remained on-site extensively to clear the scene.

Medics were called to care for victims who suffered injuries due to the traffic wreck. At least one of the involved parties was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.

The Georgia Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
