Atlanta, GA – Injuries Follow Two-Vehicle Wreck at I-75 S & Williams St NW

Atlanta, GA (December 29, 2022) – The Georgia Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic accident that took place in the Georgia Tech area that ended in injuries. On December 28, authorities were notified that a traffic accident occurred on Interstate 75.

According to preliminary investigations, at around 10:30 a.m., a traffic wreck blocked the southbound side of the interstate. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and close off the roadway near Williams Street Northwest.

Georgia Highway Patrol and firefighters remained on-site for an extended period while providing assistance.

At least one person suffered injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a local medical facility for care.
