Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Downtown Crash on I-75 near I-20

Atlanta, GA (February 3, 2023) – An automobile accident took place on Friday afternoon that prompted the response of the Georgia Highway Patrol.

On February 3, authorities were notified that a traffic crash had occurred on Interstate 75.

At 12 p.m., a vehicle collision blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes on the northbound side of the roadway just north of exit 247 at Interstate 20.

The police and firefighters responded to the scene to provide assistance.

Paramedics were called to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
