Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in I-75 Crash near 17th St

Atlanta, GA (February 7, 2023) – An automobile accident took place in the Atlanta area on Monday morning that resulted in injuries.

At approximately 4:20 a.m. on February 6, calls for help were received by the Georgia Highway Patrol and area firefighters.

Preliminary reports indicate that a crash between vehicles took place on the right lane of Interstate 75. The incident caused minor delays on the southbound side of the roadway near 17^th Street.

Injuries were confirmed due to the traffic accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was then transported to a local hospital.

The Georgia Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
