Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash on I-75

Atlanta, GA (December 30, 2022) – The Georgia Highway Patrol and firefighters responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle collision that took place on Thursday evening that resulted in injuries.

On December 29, authorities were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 75.

According to local reports, a semi-truck, a white SUV, a black sedan, and an unknown number of additional vehicles collided on Interstate 75. The crash blocked multiple lanes of travel, causing delays in the area. At least one vehicle involved in the accident began smoking after the collision.

Passersby rushed to the site of the collision to assist in pulling people from their vehicles. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide care to injured victims and transfer them to area hospitals.

At this time, authorities are investigating to determine what led to the accident taking place.
