Atlanta, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Spring St (Exit 249)

Atlanta, GA (February 21, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was summoned to assist at the scene of a significant motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday afternoon and ended in injuries.

Just before three o’clock p.m. just before three p.m. on February 20, Georgia Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters responded to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Interstate 75.

According to reports, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75. As a result of the crash, one vehicle collided head-on with the concrete barrier near the right lane of travel.

The incident caused delays in traffic near Exit 249 at Spring Street as emergency officials worked to clear the road.

As a result of the accident, at least one individual suffered injuries that required medical care. Paramedics provided care for injured patients and transported them to nearby hospitals so that they could receive further treatment.

The Georgia Highway Patrol is currently investigating.
