Atlanta, GA – Injury Crash on I-75 SB Exit to I-85 NB Sends Victims to Hospital

Atlanta, GA (May 3, 2025) – On May 3rd, a crash with reported injuries occurred on the southbound lanes of I-75, just at the exit ramp to northbound I-85 (Exit 251), near Midtown Atlanta. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident took place during the early afternoon and involved multiple vehicles.   Paramedics responded swiftly and assessed the involved individuals at the scene. Traffic in the area came to a standstill, with significant delays extending through mid-evening. Wreckers were called to remove the damaged vehicles, and crews worked for over an hour to clear the debris and reopen the affected lanes. The Georgia State Patrol is leading the investigation and interviewing witnesses. No citations have been issued at this time.
