Atlanta, GA – Injury Crash on NB I-75 at Forest Pkwy Causes Delays

Atlanta, GA (April 14, 2025) – A crash with injuries occurred on April 14 on northbound I-75 at Forest Pkwy (Exit 237), blocking the right lane and causing delays through the area. The incident took place at approximately 2:33 p.m. in Clayton County, just as traffic was beginning to build ahead of the afternoon rush.

According to initial reports, at least two vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred in the right lane of the interstate near the Forest Pkwy exit. Motorists approaching the area experienced sudden slowdowns, and several witnesses contacted 911 to report the crash and request emergency assistance.

First responders from the Georgia State Patrol and local fire rescue units quickly arrived on scene. Paramedics treated one individual on-site for minor injuries, including abrasions and complaints of neck pain. That person was later transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Another driver involved in the crash did not report injuries but was assessed by medics as a precaution.

Firefighters worked to clear debris and assist with traffic management while law enforcement officers directed vehicles around the blocked right lane. Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles shortly after 3:15 p.m., allowing traffic to gradually return to normal.
