Atlanta, GA – Major Accident Reported on I-75 near Cleveland Ave

Atlanta, GA (March 1, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident was reported on the south side of Atlanta on Tuesday evening, resulting in injuries.

At approximately 6:40 p.m. on February 28, the Georgia Highway Patrol was notified that they were needed on-site at a car crash that took place on Interstate 75.

Reports from witnesses show that a white Mazda 3 was traveling on the southbound side of the interstate when it crashed into two other vehicles near Cleveland Avenue. The Mazda then fled the scene of the accident. The crash blocked three southbound lanes of travel.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to victims and transfer them to area hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
