Atlanta, GA – Man Fatally Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-75 near Courtland St

Atlanta, GA (January 18, 2023) – A 41-year-old man has died as a result of a pedestrian crash that took place in the Atlanta area early Monday morning. On January 16, the Atlanta Police Department responded to a crash on Interstate 75.

According to reports, a man was struck by a vehicle while walking on the southbound side of Interstate 75 near Courtland Street at around 2:15 a.m.

The man incurred fatal injuries due to the crash. The police responded to the scene of the accident and secured the area. The victim was pronounced dead on site as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the car involved in the accident fled the scene.
