Atlanta, GA – Traffic Wreck with Injuries Reported at I-75 N & University Ave SW

Atlanta, GA (December 28, 2022) – Authorities across Atlanta responded to the scene of an accident that took place in the Pittsburgh neighborhood that ended in injuries. At around 4 a.m., on December 27, the police and firefighters were notified that a traffic accident occurred on Interstate 75.

According to law enforcement, a traffic wreck shut down all lanes of the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near University Avenue Southwest. Firefighters and police responded to the scene to provide assistance.

A teenager and a second girl involved in the accident both suffered injuries. The two victims were treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals.

The Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
