Atlanta, GA – Two Lanes Blocked by Injury Crash on I-75 near Mt Paran Rd

Atlanta, GA (February 21, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that took place on the northwest side of Atlanta that resulted in injuries.

At around 5:20 a.m. on February 21, authorities were notified that they needed assistance on the site at a motor vehicle accident on the southbound side of Interstate 75.

Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and secured the two left lanes of travel on the southbound side of the roadway the incident caused minor delays in the area of Mt Paran Road as emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles.

As a result of the accident, at least one person was hurt. At the site, paramedics attended to the injured patients and transported them to nearby hospitals so that they could receive further treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated at this time.
