Bartow Co, GA – Injury Crash on I-75 SB at SR-20

Bartow Co, GA (February 25, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on February 25 on Interstate 75 Southbound at State Route 20, causing significant traffic disruptions. The accident was reported at approximately 4:00 p.m., prompting an emergency response from local authorities. 

According to officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision, which resulted in injuries. Firefighters arrived on the scene to assist in extracting those involved from their vehicles, while paramedics provided medical attention and transported at least one injured individual to a nearby hospital. Law enforcement officers managed the scene, directing traffic around the blocked lanes as crews worked to clear the wreckage.  

The crash led to the closure of two left lanes on I-75 SB, causing delays for commuters in the area. Authorities urged drivers to seek alternative routes while responders worked to restore normal traffic flow.  

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and officials have not confirmed whether any citations will be issued.
