Bartow Co, GA – One Injured in I-75 S Collision Near Folsom Rd

Bartow Co, GA (May 13, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred on Tuesday morning on southbound Interstate 75 just before the Folsom Rd exit at mile marker 306, resulting in all lanes being blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene.

The Georgia Department of Transportation reported the incident at approximately 7:48 a.m., with authorities urging drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while responders worked at the crash site.

According to initial reports, two vehicles collided on I-75 S under circumstances still being investigated. Emergency personnel from Bartow County, including EMS and fire rescue units, responded quickly to assess the scene and assist the victims. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Firefighters and tow crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles and debris from the highway while law enforcement directed traffic and initiated a crash investigation. The roadway was expected to remain closed until around 8:00 a.m.
