Bartow County, GA – Three Killed in Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75

Bartow County, GA (May 15, 2025) – A tragic crash early Tuesday morning claimed the lives of three individuals and left several others injured along the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Highway 140 in Bartow County.

The deadly collision occurred on May 13 and involved two tractor-trailers and one additional vehicle. The impact caused extensive damage and led to a full closure of all southbound lanes in the area as emergency responders rushed to the scene.

Firefighters and medics worked swiftly to rescue and treat injured individuals. While the Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed multiple injuries, they have not yet disclosed the total number or severity of those hurt. Emergency personnel from Bartow County assisted with medical care and scene management throughout the morning.

The crash created major traffic disruptions, with detours put in place as crews cleared wreckage and investigators began their analysis.
