Bay Co., MI – Head-On Collision on I-75/Salzburg Rd, Two Dead, Two Injured

Bay County, MI (March 14, 2024) – On the late evening of Wednesday, March 13th, a tragic head-on collision occurred on I-75 near Salzburg Road in Monitor Township. Michigan State Police reported that a 41-year-old woman from Pinconning entered the southbound lanes traveling in the wrong direction around 11:15 p.m., resulting in the collision. The occupants of the northbound vehicle, which carried three Genesee County residents, tragically lost their lives. The 39-year-old male driver from Flint and a 33-year-old male passenger from Davison succumbed to their injuries at the scene. A 30-year-old female passenger from Flint and the Pinconning driver are currently listed in critical condition, both fighting for their lives as of Thursday morning.
