Bibb Co, GA – Fatal Wreck on I-75 S/Exit 153  Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

Bibb County, GA (September 9, 2024) – A tragic accident on I-75 South near Exit 153 claimed the life of a woman on Saturday afternoon, September 7th. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) reported that the crash occurred around 2:12 p.m. and involved a Kia Sorento and a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Kia Sorento sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Atrium Navicent Health, where they are listed in stable condition. The driver of the Toyota Camry, identified as 23-year-old Kaitlyn Mackenzie Hermans, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones. Her family has been notified of the tragic loss.
