Birch Run Township, MI – I-75 Crash between Burt & Birch Run Rds Ends in Injuries

Birch Run Township, MI (February 2, 2023) – The Michigan State Police responded to a car accident in Saginaw County on Monday morning that ended in injuries.

At around 11:00 a.m. on January 30, calls for help were received regarding a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 75.

Reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation show that a vehicle collision blocked all of the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in the area between Bert Road and Birch Run Road.

The police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and blocked off the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.

Crews remained on state extensively as they worked to reopen the road.

At least one person suffered injuries that required further medical care and was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
