Bonita Springs, FL – Injuries Follow I-75 Crash near Bonita Beach Rd

Bonita Springs, FL (March 14, 2023) – On March 13, troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were notified they were needed at the scene of the crash in Lee County that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

FHP reports indicate that a vehicle collision blocked the southbound side of Interstate 75. Authorities responded to the scene and closed off the left lane of travel near Exit 116 for Bonita Beach Road.

Highway Patrol and local firefighters remained at the scene for an extended period as they worked to clear the road.

Emergency medical services were dispatched to care for injured victims and to provide them with transportation to local hospitals.

Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
