Boone, KY – Injury Accident on I-75 near KY-338 Prompts KSP Response

Boone, KY (March 18, 2023) – The Kentucky State Police responded to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Boone and ended in injuries.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on March 17, the state officials were notified that an automobile accident occurred on Interstate 75.

Crash reports indicate that vehicles collided on the southbound side of the interstate, blocking two left lanes of travel near Kentucky State Route 338. The incident caused the police and firefighters to secure the roadway for an extended period. At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
