Bradenton, FL – Two Injured in Construction Accident on I-75 near MM 223

Bradenton, FL (February 15, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident took place in the Bradenton area that left two people injured. The accident was reported at around 4:40 p.m. on February 14.

According to law enforcement, an automobile collision took place in a construction zone along the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off all of the northbound lanes in the area near the Manatee River at mile marker 223.

Two people suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victims were airlifted and flown to area hospitals for emergency treatment. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
