Bradenton, FL – Two Injured in I-75 Crash near MM 221

Bradenton, FL (January 5, 2023) – Two people were injured in a traffic accident that took place on Tuesday morning, January 3, in Bradenton. At around 6:20 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 75.

According to authorities, a collision blocked the southbound side of Interstate 5 near mile marker 221. Troopers responded to the scene of the accident and closed off the southbound side of the roadway for approximately one hour.

Two people suffered injuries in the crash. The two victims were transported to Manatee Memorial Hospital for emergency care.

At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
