Brookwood, GA – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near I-85

Brookwood, GA (January 19, 2023) – A traffic crash reported in the Brookwood area prompted the response of Georgia Highway Patrol on Wednesday morning. On January 18, authorities were notified that a traffic crash occurred on Interstate 75 that required medical attention.

The Georgia Highway Patrol, area firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene of the crash, which occurred on the southbound side of the road at around 7:59 a.m.

Emergency crews blocked off to left lanes of travel as they worked to clear the road.

Medics provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries and transported those who required further care to area hospitals.
