Byron, GA – Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Truck on I-75 near Warner Robins Exit

Byron, GA (June 19, 2023) – A pedestrian lost their life following a crash that took place in Peach County on Saturday morning, June 17.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., the Peach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Interstate 75.

Reports from officials indicate that a male pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck tractor-trailer on Interstate 75, causing delays on the southbound side of the road.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located a severely injured man on the roadway near the exit for Warner Robins. The pedestrian was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
