Campbell Co., TN – Car and Big Rig Collision on I-75 Leaves Injuries

Campbell County, TN (September 29, 2025) – On September 29, a two-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a commercial big rig caused injuries on Interstate 75 northbound, near Mile Marker 140. The collision occurred around peak traffic hours, leading to significant delays as Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers and Campbell County deputies responded to the scene.

Authorities found both vehicles with visible front-end damage, and debris was scattered across the roadway. At least one person sustained injuries and was assessed by EMS at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been released.

Towing crews worked to remove the disabled car while officers conducted preliminary investigations into what led to the impact. Lanes were partially blocked for over an hour as responders cleared the wreckage and directed traffic around the crash site.
