Cartersville, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Cassville White Rd

Cartersville, GA (March 11, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was notified that a motor vehicle accident took place in the Cartersville area that ended in injuries.

At around 5:15 a.m. on March 10, authorities were called to provide assistance at the site of a car crash that occurred on Interstate 75.

Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle collision blocked the northbound side of the interstate during the early morning hours. The incident prompted Highway Patrol and firefighters to block off the roadway near Cassville White Road.

Emergency officials went to work quickly on securing the area. Emergency medical services treated the victims at the scene and transported them to local hospitals for further care.
