Carthage, GA – Two-Car Injury Collision on I-75 SB at Exit 187
Carthage, GA (February 25, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on February 25 on southbound I-75 near Exit 187, partially blocking traffic and causing delays. The incident, which took place around 7:25 p.m., involved a two-car collision that resulted in at least one individual being injured.
According to local authorities, the crash led to the closure of the right lane and part of the left lane, resulting in significant congestion in the area. Emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, arrived promptly at the scene. Ambulances transported the injured individuals to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, while fire crews worked to extricate the vehicles involved in the crash.
Due to the severity of the incident, traffic was backed up for several miles. Authorities urged motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
