Chattanooga, TN – Crash with injuries Reported on I-75 near Ringgold Rd

Chattanooga, TN (February 16, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday in the Chattanooga area.

At around 1:45 p.m. on February 15, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Interstate 75.

Reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that a vehicle collision occurred on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident caused delays in traffic near Ringgold Road.

Emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway. Medics responded to care for the victims who were harmed.

At least one person involved in the crash sustained injuries that required further medical care. The victims were transported to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
