Chattanooga, TN – Injuries Reported After SB I-75 Crash Before I-24 Split

Chattanooga, TN (April 26, 2025) – A collision involving multiple vehicles was reported on April 26 on Interstate 75 southbound, just before the Interstate 24 split in Chattanooga, resulting in injuries . The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the crash at approximately 5:30 p.m., alongside Chattanooga Fire Department units. Upon arrival, officials found multiple damaged vehicles and several injured parties.

Victims sustained non-life-threatening to serious injuries. Some were evaluated and treated on-site, while others required transportation to Erlanger Hospital for further care. Emergency personnel worked to stabilize the scene quickly, but extensive traffic delays persisted well into the evening. Early investigations suggest that merging traffic and driver inattention could have played a role in the incident. A full review by the Tennessee Highway Patrol remains underway.
