Chattanooga, TN – Injuries Sustained in Crash on I-75 SB at Hwy 153 Exit

Chattanooga, TN (May 19, 2025) – A crash involving multiple vehicles led to reported injuries on I-75 southbound near the Highway 153 exit on May 19, prompting a rapid response from local authorities. The Chattanooga Police Department reported that the incident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m.  First responders arrived quickly and administered emergency care to the injured at the scene. No word on whether hospitalization was required for the injured. Tow crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the contributing factors in the accident. Alcohol and speed have not yet been ruled out, pending further review.
