Chattanooga, TN – Injury-Causing Crash on I-75 S at Hwy 153 Exit

Chattanooga, TN (August 15, 2024) – An accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on I-75 South near the Highway 153 exit in Chattanooga on the morning of August 14th. The crash left several people injured, according to reports from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). The accident was reported early in the morning and caused significant traffic congestion as emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist the injured and clear the wreckage. First responders provided initial treatment on-site before transporting the injured to local hospitals for further care. TDOT is investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
