Chattanooga, TN – Injury Collision on I-75 near I-24 Split

Chattanooga, TN (March 16, 2023) – At around 4:15 on March 15, emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident in the Chattanooga area that resulted in injuries.

According to officials, multiple vehicles collided on the middle lanes of southbound Interstate 75. Authorities arrived at the scene and located several vehicles blocking the middle two lanes of the southbound side of the road. The incident caused severe disruptions in traffic near Interstate 24 Split.

Emergency crews secured the roadway as they worked to clear the damaged vehicles and debris from the lanes of travel.

Medics responded to care for the injured victims and transferred those who required further medical attention to local hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
