Chattanooga, TN – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 at E Brainerd Exit

Chattanooga, TN (September 22, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 75 northbound near the East Brainerd exit on Monday, September 22. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) confirmed that all lanes were blocked following the crash, as both damaged vehicles and emergency responders occupied the roadway.

Crews worked to assist the injured parties, though officials have not yet released the total number of victims or the severity of injuries. First responders evaluated those hurt at the scene, and at least one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for additional treatment.

Authorities remained on site for several hours to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash and to safely remove the wreckage from the roadway. The lanes were gradually reopened after tow trucks cleared the scene.
