Cherokee Co., GA – Crash with Injuries on I-75 SB/Alabama Rd

Cherokee County, GA (May 25, 2025) – A crash involving several vehicles on Interstate 75 southbound near Exit 277 at Alabama Road resulted in injuries on May 25. Georgia State Patrol confirmed that first responders arrived quickly and treated multiple individuals at the scene. At least two people were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Others sustained non-life-threatening injuries but declined transport. Investigators are looking into whether distracted driving or excessive speed may have contributed to the incident.
