Cherokee County, GA – Multi-Vehicle Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Woodstock Rd

Cherokee County, GA (February 18, 2023) – Several vehicles were involved in an accident in Cherokee County on Friday that resulted in injuries.

On February 17, the Georgia Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance on-site at a crash on Interstate 75.

Reports from authorities show that five vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident caused at least one vehicle to strike a guardrail near Woodstock Road.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to multiple victims. Those who required further care were transported to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
