Cincinnati, OH – Fatal Crash on I-75 at MM 6.3

Cincinnati, OH (November 10, 2024) – A tragic accident on Interstate 75 in Cincinnati claimed the life of a 47-year-old man early on the morning of November 10th. According to a statement from the Cincinnati Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the 6.3-mile marker on I-75 North, where the man and a 42-year-old woman had exited their disabled Chevrolet Malibu to inspect the vehicle. As the couple stood beside their vehicle on the right berm, a 30-year-old man driving a Honda Accord reportedly lost control and veered off the roadway, striking the disabled Malibu and the 47-year-old man. The impact left the man with life-threatening injuries, and he was immediately transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University Hospital Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The female occupant of the Malibu was uninjured in the collision. Authorities have ruled out excessive speed and impairment as factors in the accident, but further investigation is ongoing.
