Cincinnati, OH – Fatal Truck Crash on I-75 Claims Driver’s Life
Cincinnati, OH (February 18, 2025) – A fatal truck crash occurred on Interstate 75 over the weekend, claiming the life of a driver after his vehicle was hit by a commercial truck. The tragic incident happened on February 15 at approximately 6:30 p.m. when 37-year-old Luis Rodriguez was traveling north on I-75 near the city.
According to local authorities, Rodriguez lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway. His car collided with a guardrail before re-entering the roadway, where it was then struck by a commercial truck traveling in the same direction. The impact was severe, and Rodriguez was quickly transported by emergency responders to UC Medical Center.
Despite efforts to save him, Rodriguez later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The driver of the commercial truck was uninjured in the crash. Authorities confirmed that both Rodriguez and the truck driver were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision. Investigators are still looking into the cause of the accident to determine whether there were any contributing factors leading to Rodriguez’s loss of control.
