Protect Your Legal Rights After an I-75 Accident
Every year, thousands of people are negatively affected by vehicle accidents that occur on Interstate 75. In many cases, people are harmed in accidents that are entirely preventable. We see countless innocent people suffer debilitating injuries due to drivers who engage in negligent actions while behind the wheel.
No matter how much experience you have behind the wheel, driving on Interstate 75 can be dangerous. There are many potential hazards to watch out for, including congestion, truck traffic, and always travel at a safe speed.
One of the most important things to be aware of when driving on Interstate 75 is congestion. When traffic is heavy, it can be difficult to maintain a safe speed and distance from other vehicles. This is especially true in areas where lanes merge or exit ramps are located. If you find yourself in stop-and-go traffic, be extra careful to avoid rear-ending the vehicle in front of you.
Heavy truck traffic on Interstate 75 is also another leading cause of crashes. Trucks have blind spots that passenger vehicles do not, so it’s important to give them plenty of space when passing or being passed. In addition, trucks take longer to accelerate and brake than smaller vehicles, so always allow plenty of room between you and a truck when changing lanes or merging into traffic.
Last but not least, always travel at a safe speed. Posted speed limits are designed to keep drivers safe while traveling on Interstate 75. Speeding can increase your chance of being hurt or suffering severe injuries in the event that an accident occurs.
