Cincinnati, OH – Three Hospitalized Following Collision on I-75
Cincinnati, OH (October 25, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident early Friday morning, October 25 left three individuals injured and prompted a temporary closure of Interstate 75. At around 2:30 a.m., a 27-year-old woman from Bellevue, KY, reportedly rear-ended a construction vehicle near the seven-mile marker on the southbound lanes of I-75. Following the initial impact, a 40-year-old Cincinnati woman driving a second vehicle rear-ended the first car. Emergency responders from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrived swiftly to assess the situation. Both drivers and a passenger in the first vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital. While the passenger and the second driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, the 27-year-old Bellevue driver required immediate surgery. Authorities temporarily closed the southbound lanes until 6:05 a.m. to manage the crash scene and remove debris from the road. Preliminary investigations suggest that alcohol may have contributed to the accident, and charges are currently pending.
