Cincinnati, OH – Two Motorcyclists Injured, One Seriously, in I-75 Collision Near MM 1.4

Cincinnati, OH (September 9, 2023) – A collision on I-75 left two motorcyclists injured, with one in serious condition on the evening of September 8th, according to a report by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD).

At around 9:55 p.m., the CPD’s Traffic Unit rushed to the scene at I-75 South near the 1.4-mile marker following reports of a severe traffic crash.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a 26-year-old man, operating a motorcycle in the southbound lane of I-75, collided with another motorcycle driven by a 31-year-old man, who was also traveling in the same direction.

The 26-year-old motorcyclist was transported to UC Medical Center with serious injuries and is now listed in stable condition, as confirmed by the police. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old rider was treated at the scene at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are actively looking into excessive speed and impairment as potential contributing factors to the collision, CPD noted. Witnesses of this accident or anyone with information related to it are encouraged to reach out to the CPD’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
