Clarkston, MI – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 at M-15 Involves Charter Bus
Clarkston, MI (March 11, 2025) – A devastating multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 75 near M-15 in Oakland County resulted in the death of one person on Tuesday, March 11. According to Michigan State Police (MSP), the incident occurred when a 65-year-old Flint man driving a charter bus in the right lane failed to stop in time, colliding with a red Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 67-year-old Goodrich resident. The impact set off a chain reaction, pushing the Silverado into a Mercedes-Benz, which was subsequently pushed into a Ford F-750 and then into another Chevrolet Silverado.
Authorities reported that the bus continued moving after the initial collision, eventually crashing into a parked truck and a tractor-trailer on the right shoulder. Tragically, the driver of the red Chevrolet Silverado was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. MSP troopers, along with emergency responders, worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the accident.
Our sincere sympathies go out to the victim’s loved ones during this grieving time.
